pardon our dust while we finish our new website

A growing and evolving collection of peoples stories and faces from around the US. Since July of 2021, Monica Jane Frisell and Adam Scher have been traveling with the Ark creating this archive which will continue to expand as time goes on. The newsletter and podcast are great places to experience this project.

All photographs are shot by Monica on 8x10 film with her Kodak Master field camera. The film is then processed and printed within the Ark. Each participant receives a copy of their image as a gift for their story.
